Well, I can officially say that I’ve flown internationally with a child under two and it was challenging… but not as impossible as I anticipated! Blake, Aria and I flew to The Bahamas last week and after 35 hours of travel, (6 flights + 8 hour layover in Miami airport) I think I may have some helpful tips for parents flying with their babies or toddlers as a lap child!
Family Christmas Pictures 2017
Happy Monday everyone! Today I’m so excited to be sharing our family Christmas photos that we had taken last month with EffJayPhotography! We shot with her last year too and she is absolutely amazing to work with! We had her come out to my parents home so we could take pictures on the back of my dad’s old truck (it doesn’t run haha) and I think they turned out so cute! We added some cute Christmas decor and cozy blankets and it was so festive!
Minnie Mouse Birthday Bash!
I really love planning events and even though it wears me out, I start planning months in advance so that everything is perfect! Aria’s first birthday will be one for the books that’s for sure! Everything went so well and all of my ideas carried through and looked even better than I thought. We had lots of friends and family come out for the event, and I’m so thankful for everyone who attended. We know her first birthday was a celebration of one year of parenthood just as much as it was one year of life for her and we had a blast celebrating with all our loved ones!
The Weekend Diaries- Pumpkin Patch with Friends!
I haven’t done a ‘Weekend Diaries’ post in so long so I thought this would be the perfect opportunity! Blake and I met our friends Haylee & Jarron at Sweet Berry Farms this weekend so we could get pictures of our little ones together at the pumpkin patch.
Aria Mae’s Nursery Reveal
I am so excited to finally be revealing our little girl’s nursery that we have worked so hard on over the past 6+ months!! I really wanted to do a glam theme but still try and keep some things neutral too. I was really inspired by this crib from Bratt Decor and from there created the theme and space centered off of it. We got light grey carpet installed and painted the room solid white for a perfect blank slate. As you can see my official color scheme was black white, pink and gold.
