Blake and I had the pleasure of staying out at The Vineyard Bed & Breakfast at Lost Creek Ranch in Sunrise Beach Village this weekend, and we had the most amazing time thanks to the owners, Dave and Kathy. This is the first post of many in a new series I’m wanting to start here on Hey Kaily Mae called “Hill Country Getaways.” The Hill Country has been my home for my entire life and for that reason (and because it’s so darn gorgeous) it is so special to me, and I want to share some of it’s hidden gems with you guys.
Hey guys! I’m FINALLY sharing our pictures from our New York trip so be prepared for a very photo-heavy post today. Blake and I vacationed in NYC at the beginning of December and had a blast seeing the city for the holidays. We have both been to New York before but never together and never for the holidays so we did all of the touristy things and saw the Rockefeller tree, the Christmas windows at Saks, etc.
I’m so excited to bring you my first “Travel” post here on the blog! Blake had to travel to Seattle for a work conference and I decided to tag along. We got to explore Seattle together when he got done with work each day and it was so much fun! Such a beautiful city to see and the weather was absolutely incredible. I put together some “musts” for food and fun below if you ever find yourself up in the northwest!
Blake and I had an absolute blast in Seattle and I’m finally sharing all of our photos from the trip! I’m also putting together a Seattle Travel Guide that I’ll post soon too, but for now enjoy a very photo-heavy post of our Washington adventure. Thanks for stopping by!
Welcome back to our blog and thank you for stopping by! In tonight’s post I am showing you all some of the pictures from one of our days of exploring. We went to an incredible beach at the north end of the island and then also went to a big ocean hole that was goregous! I wore my turquoise Victoria’s Secret swimsuit and for a cover-up, I aactually wore a scarf! Yes.. a scarf. It was a perfect cover-up! All I did was wrap it and tie it around my neck. I wore some blue sunglasses that I got for under $10 at a convenience store near my house (my parent’s store called Crossroads, actually) and my brown gladiator sandals.
