Everyone says wearing white after Labor Day is a “no-no,” and I am here today to prove them wrong! I think that any piece of clothing that is styled correctly can be worn anytime your heart desires; fashion has no rules! I wanted to pair my white denim jeans with this adorable sweater top from Sage Threads & Co because I thought that the neutrals really complimented each other. I loved that this sweater was sleeveless so that it made for a great transition piece from Summer to Fall! To really add to the Autumn “vibes” I threw on my tall brown boots to make for a polished look and kept with minimal accessories.
Even though it’s still so hot outside, I wanted to share this Fall look with you because this dress (top for me haha) was so fun and comfortable to wear! I found this dress at Sage Threads & Co. in Austin and had to feature it. It’s really light and flowy and you can wear it loose or you can tighten it up with the tie in the back! I paired it with my favorite skinny jeans and booties, and then of course couldn’t forget my fedora! This was a great top for my baby bump, but I think for me it would’ve been a little short for a dress (tall girl problems). Hi guys! Thank you for returning to our blog to read our post! Today I am writing from The Bahamas!! Yes, I am on a much needed vacation, and I am super excited to talk about this dress today. So, I rented this dress from Rent the Runway for a charity event I went to in Austin last week, and I thought, how perfect would this dress be for attending a Summer wedding?! I paired this Parker New York maxi dress with this Rebecca Minkoff peach bucket bag, also rented from RTR! I wanted to do something different with my hair, so I used my Bellami extensions to do a Halo braid! It was such a girly look, I loved it!
