It’s about that time of year again! Fashion X Austin is just around the corner so everyone is gearing up for the shows with some pre-parties! Thankfully I got to attend the Preview event at Suitsupply in the domain last week and it was a blast.
Since I had a baby last year, my life has been all about taking care of her first and foremost, but now that she is a little older I want to take a little time out of each day to take care of me so that I can feel my best and be the best mom I can be to Aria.
It’s ‘Work Wear Wednesday’ here on the blog today featuring this super classy dress from Leota New York! At the beginning of the year one of my resolutions was to challenge myself a bit in the fashion department, so when I had the opportunity to work with Leota and pick out a dress, I ended up choosing this busy printed one that normally I probably wouldn’t choose.
YOU GUYS! I designed my own t-shirts! I’m so excited to finally launch this on Hey Kaily Mae, and I hope to do more in the future. You can see all of the different styles of the shirt below and you can head to the link below to shop!
Happy Friday! I’m SO ready for the weekend, you guys. Blake has been gone all week for work and I’ve been bored out of my mind haha. We are attending a friend’s wedding this weekend and hopefully getting some much needed R&R because I’ve been sick all week with a sore throat. Not fun!
One of this season’s biggest trends is embroidery and I’m seeing it everywhere on everything! I found this cute blue striped embroidery top (under $20) and had to have it for Spring! I love how it ties in the front and it’s really lightweight too. I paired it with my new favorite jeans and accented it with pink accessories.
If you aren’t big on wearing color (a lot of people aren’t) a good way to add color to your outfits is by using accessories! I like wearing color, but I prefer neutrals on myself most of the time so when Spring and Summer come around it’s nice to have pieces that make your outfit feel season-appropriate! I love this coral bag from Coach’s new Spring line this year.
