Happy Monday everyone! Today I’ve published my FIRST gift guide and I’m so pumped to start off this series because I have so many more coming your way! I’ve made it super easy to shop this widget, just hover your mouse over the item you want to shop and it will take you right to it!
Today I’m getting personal up in here as you can see by the title of this post, haha! My journey with God has been something I’ve always cherished but, just as every human out there, it’s had ups and downs. Here’s a little background for you. I got baptized when I was 11 or 12 years old after I went through confirmation, which is a long study with a mentor where you learn about the bible, Jesus, and your faith in general.
Happy Monday everyone! I promise I’m not as cool as this outfit makes me look haha but it was fun to pull out my inner edgy side for one night while I was in Chicago! This is the ultimate ‘black on black’ outfit so if you love black this post is for you! I was in desperate need of a good leather jacket so I finally invested in one this season.
I’ve always enjoyed Halloween but I think it’s even more fun when you get to experience it with your kids. Last year I had so much fun dressing Aria up as Minnie Mouse, and then at another event she was the Robin to my Batman 😉
It’s been a long two weeks to be honest. I’m not complaining because I got to travel to Chicago for work (I’ve never been!) and that was so much fun and then the day after I got home we left to visit family for about 5 days. We finally made it home late last night after 12 hours of traveling and I was so excited to sleep in my own bed! Anyone else love returning home to your own pillow?! Such a good feeling. While out and about earlier this week I had Blake (my husband if you’re a new reader) shoot some picture of me in this adorable grey top that I got from Shop Pink Blush! It has the cutest details with eyelet ties and bows on each sleeve and it’s such a comfortable top. It can also be worn as a maternity top FYI: pregnant ladies!
First of all, how amazing is this shoot?! Go on, take a look. You can scroll back up and read this after. We had so much fun collaborating with all of these vendors for this Fall styled shoot and I think it turned out amazing! From the venue to the photographer and makeup, it really looks like a dream! I was also looking forward to having these pictures because I never really loved the pictures from my actual wedding to Blake 4 years ago. It was kind of a fun do-over and I’m lucky to have a husband/partner who says yes when I ask him to do photoshoots with me (lol)! I got a good one ladies.
There are two trends I’ve really wanted to try out this Fall and it’s a baker boy hat and cropped jeans! Well, thanks to Shop Pink Blush I got to try out a pair of their amazing cropped + distressed jeans (I’m wearing a size 26) and I’m in love with these y’all. The price is amazing too! I paired them with my black heeled booties and this adorable ruffle sleeve top (wearing a small) that’s also from Shop Pink Blush.
