Hi you guys! I’m finally hopping on to add some links and update you on some recent home projects we’ve been tackling. It’s been so nice to actually check some things off of our home to-do list, as I’m sure everyone is trying to do right now!
We moved into our home last July so we are coming up on a year of being in it and it’s getting SO close to being done and to what we want. I’ve noticed a jump in my engagement recently when I’ve posted my home decor photos so I’m running with it because it seems to be something y’all enjoy too!
In today’s post I’m adding photos of our recent powder room update! This was so fun to do because it wasn’t that much work and I’ve even seen a few of you re-create it! I feel like I’ve finally found a home-style I love and I’m leaning towards a lot of modern/ black/ industrial vibes over here. Everything in our powder room was really cheap and easy to do. Here’s the before photo!

I cut a point in a piece of cardboard to be my guide when painting but I liked that the lines weren’t perfect and I think it gives it character! We taped off 10″ sections.
And after:

For the light fixture, I didn’t feel like spending money on a new one for our powder room right now so we took the original down, spray painted it matte black and removed the glass. We replaced the light bulbs with Edison antique bulbs!
We finished it off by painting the cabinets black and adding gold hardware. I love how this turned out and it was the easiest little project! Below you can find the links to some of the decor I added as well! Are y’all remodeling anything in your home right now?
