5 Spring Staples to Shop Now!

Wow… I can’t believe it’s already March you guys! The older I get, the faster time flies and it’s so depressing lol. I mean, I have a TWO year old now! I swear I was just in high school with no care in the world… anyone else? Time is so precious, and I’m learning how important it is to cherish every single second.

I’m really looking forward to Spring because it somehow feels like a fresh start. The weather is starting to feel amazing and there is this feeling of renewal that’s come over me. My life has been so crazy lately but also really exciting! I accepted a new job as a Marketing Director for a company in Austin that’s expanding into the hill country (closer to where I live) and it’s a whole new world! For the past two years I’ve been working part time from home/caring for Aria 24/7. Now, we’ve enrolled her in a pre-k class and I’m working full time! It’s taken some time to get used to but I finally feel like we are all getting into the swing of our new “normal.”

Now, onto the fashion! Today I wanted to list some of my favorite “must-haves” for Spring that I think every gal needs in her closet to be on top of her fashion game this season. Take a look at my picks below and you can shop my look above!

SPRING STAPLES

1. Open toe booties!

An open toe bootie is so great for Spring because it’s not too hot yet and they are great transition shoes! I just got these at Marshall’s for $30 but I’ve linked some amazing options here too. I love that these are nude and will go with absolutely anything! I prefer the perforated and low block heels.

2. White denim!

I’ve been searching for a great pair of white jeans for SO long and I finally found I pair I really like. The hard part about buying white jeans is a lot of them can be see through (ugh). I found these that I’m wearing in these pictures and I found some other great ones too! White jeans can elevate your wardrobe so much because they are so classy and can really brighten up your entire outfit for the season!

3. A go-to floral dress!

Florals for Spring?! Groundbreaking. Name that movie! (haha) But seriously, you always need a great floral dress for Spring, whether it be to wear to church or if you have a wedding coming up! Maybe you just have a brunch planned with your girlfriends! I’ve linked some adorable dresses below for y’all to take a look at!

4. Fun sunglasses!

It seems like crazy fun sunglasses are really in right now, and Spring is the perfect season for these bright colors! I’m looking at the 2 in 1 set from Amazon and a couple of others! Most of these are really great deals too.

5. Bright lipstick!

When Spring rolls around I’m always so excited to change up my makeup because it doesn’t make sense to wear a cool toned lipstick with a bright, fun dress or top! In the pictures below I’m wearing this NYX lippie in Squad goals and it’s the perfect pink.
