The Weekend Diaries: Easter & More

Happy Tuesday everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful long weekend with family or friends! Ours was busy and started at 5:45 on Friday morning! We drove over to Horseshoe Bay to see the hot air balloons air up and Aria had so much fun! I was shocked that I actually woke up that early… that never happens haha, but I’m glad because it was so worth it! We got to attend the media event so since there wasn’t a big crowd I was able to go up in one! It was windy so it only got about ten feet off the ground haha but it was still a cool experience. After that we went home and let Aria take a good nap and that afternoon we headed into Austin to help my parents move into an apartment.

On Saturday we just hung out around the house a little bit and that afternoon we went back out to Horseshoe Bay for the actual festival. If you follow me on Instagram you saw all of my instastories from the day. There was yummy food, live music, and different activities like rock climbing, bungee jumping, and a safari show! I had never been to this festival so it was fun to go see what it was all about. If you’re thinking about going next year be sure to bring a blanket or chairs to sit in for the day!

On Easter we spent some time with my family in Blanco. We did an Easter egg hunt and ate some BBQ outside! It was a relaxing end to our busy weekend and so much fun catching up with family. I haven’t done a weekend diaries post in so long so I’m hoping to start these up again! I hope you all have a great week!
