Hey beauties! Today I’m going to be talking about beauty! Makeup, hair, and my favorite recent purchases! I don’t do a ton of beauty posts so when I do I like to encompass as much as possible. I like to be pretty simple wth my everyday hair and makeup but I do occasionally like to spruce it up a little. I have fun watching beauty bloggers do their makeup and I take tips and tricks they use and apply them to myself when I’m getting all dolled up!
Here are some of my favorite beauty bloggers and vloggers! I will link them all so you can check them out too!
Amber Fillerup of Barefoot Blonde (Hair)
Carli Bybel of The Beauty Bybel (Makeup)
Kathleen Lights (Makeup)
Courtney Shields of BYOBeauty (Makeup & Skincare)
RECENT PURCHASES
My favorite recent purchases are the L’Oreal Paris Original Voluminous Mascara and the L’Oreal Voluminous Primer Mascara! These two things have changed my lash game. I used to have stubby short lashes and now once I use my curling wand, the primer and the black mascara, my lashes look almost like falsies! I’ve used many mascaras before, but these products are my favorite so far!
FAVE LIPPIES
I really love to have fun with my lip color too. On an everyday basis I choose more of a nude color, but it’s fun to have options for special occasions too! Below are my favorite lip colors. I love the formulas of each of these and think they go on really smooth. These aren’t too drying either!
HAIR MUST HAVES
Now hair! I love doing my hair in fun styles, and even more so, I like to do other people’s hair! Over the years I’ve done braids for my friends and even did a girl’s hair for prom! I have fun with it, and I can usually pick it up pretty well once I watch a how-to video. Here are a couple of braids I’ve done on myself over the years. I also linked my favorite products to use on my hair! I use all of these products each week so I can tell you from experience that they’re amazing.
MY DAILY ROUTINE
Here’s a little look at where I do my makeup everyday. It’s not the most amazing picture so just disregard that haha but I strongly recommend doing your makeup in natural lighting or with a setup that projects natural lighting onto your face. Blake made this vanity for me and put natural light light bulbs in it. I never realized I would use this so much but I sit at it every time I do my makeup at home. It’s a life-saver!
Thanks for stopping in to read you guys! As always, I appreciate it! Let me know what you thought of this post. It was a little different for me but I had fun with it! If you have specific questions, let me know below!
