How To Fly Internationally With A Lap …

Well, I can officially say that I’ve flown internationally with a child under two and it was challenging… but not as impossible as I anticipated! Blake, Aria and I flew to The Bahamas last week and after 35 hours of travel, (6 flights + 8 hour layover in Miami airport) I think I may have some helpful tips for parents flying with their babies or toddlers as a lap child!

Be sure to watch the Vlog I made below because there are some hilarious clips you don’t want to miss, and I also did a home tour for the fun AirBnb bayhouse we stayed at!

BlogHer 2017 Re-cap

Happy Wednesday! I hope you all had a wonderful 4th of July weekend with family or friends! Today, I’m finally bringing you a full recap of my trip to Orlando for the Blogher Conference. Hill Country Getaways: The Vineyard Bed & Breakfast

Blake and I had the pleasure of staying out at The Vineyard Bed & Breakfast at Lost Creek Ranch in Sunrise Beach Village this weekend, and we had the most amazing time thanks to the owners, Dave and Kathy. This is the first post of many in a new series I’m wanting to start here on Hey Kaily Mae called “Hill Country Getaways.” The Hill Country has been my home for my entire life and for that reason (and because it’s so darn gorgeous) it is so special to me, and I want to share some of it’s hidden gems with you guys.

The Big Apple

Hey guys! I’m FINALLY sharing our pictures from our New York trip so be prepared for a very photo-heavy post today. Blake and I vacationed in NYC at the beginning of December and had a blast seeing the city for the holidays. We have both been to New York before but never together and never for the holidays so we did all of the touristy things and saw the Rockefeller tree, the Christmas windows at Saks, etc.

Seattle Travel Guide

I’m so excited to bring you my first “Travel” post here on the blog! Blake had to travel to Seattle for a work conference and I decided to tag along. We got to explore Seattle together when he got done with work each day and it was so much fun! Such a beautiful city to see and the weather was absolutely incredible. I put together some “musts” for food and fun below if you ever find yourself up in the northwest!
