You only live once, buy the shoes! That’s my motto. But my other motto is sell your old shoes on Poshmark so you don’t…
It has FINALLY cooled off in Texas and I celebrated with this cozy outfit and a latte from my favorite coffee shop in town. I’m praying it stays cool but I’m headed to Chicago next week and then the Texas panhandle after that to visit family so at least I’ll be traveling to some cooler areas!
One of my favorite things about Fall is wearing darker/richer colors! There’s something about a rich burgundy that makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. I’ve really had my eye on striped sweaters recently so when I found this number from Forever 21 I had to grab it (the price didn’t hurt either ;)). The navy, burgundy, and red were all colors that I wouldn’t normally put together which is why I think I love it so much.
Happy Friday babes! It’s almost October and that’s making me so excited right now! It’s also making me realize that I need to go a pumpkin spice latte very soon so I can be basic at least once this season 😉
Well, it’s officially Fall- thank goodness! I’ve been waiting all summer for this. Unfortunately it’s still hot and won’t get cool until mid-November (maybe!). So while all of us Texans patiently wait for it to get cooler I’ll be talking about some fun transition pieces that have awesome Fall vibes but don’t make you sweat your face off!
I’ve been on the hunt for the best booties on the internet and I’ve rounded up my favorites here! Every year I usually purchase at least one pair of booties because mine from prior years are worn out. For example, I’m saving up to purchase a pair of brown booties this year with a mid-size heel because my current brown ones are 3 years old! I’ve gotten some good wear from them though.
This weekend Blake and I got to enjoy a little date night to ourselves and we saw the movie Home Again with Reese Witherspoon- I loved it! Definitely a chick flick (my favorite kind of movie) but I think Blake enjoyed it too. Afterwards we ate dinner at this place in Cedar Park called Cedro’s and it was so yummy! I recommend it if you like Italian food. They also have a great wine list and the setting is super modern and cool.
