Everyone needs their alone time and if you’re a mom like me you know this is how you stay sane! Today I’ve put together a little list of things I do when I need some “me-time.” I try to do at least one of these everyday so that I can be a better wife and mom to Aria and Blake.
I really love planning events and even though it wears me out, I start planning months in advance so that everything is perfect! Aria’s first birthday will be one for the books that’s for sure! Everything went so well and all of my ideas carried through and looked even better than I thought. We had lots of friends and family come out for the event, and I’m so thankful for everyone who attended. We know her first birthday was a celebration of one year of parenthood just as much as it was one year of life for her and we had a blast celebrating with all our loved ones!
I’m a big tv and movie junkie, so I thought I’d do a fun little post about my favorite shows that I’ve watched from beginning to end either on Netflix or live! Ever since I can remember I’ve loved watching movies or shows. I love to go to the theater and I have to get popcorn, always! If you’re looking for a new show to start, these are ones that I’ve watched and loved!
There’s just something about the idea of a clean slate that really makes me excited. It’s an opportunity to look back at your year and reflect on what you want to be better at going forward. I love this time of year because I like to be organized and I’m looking forward to getting more organized this year.
Who else is extremely excited for Christmas?! I absolutely love this time of year and since it’s Aria’s first Christmas I’m having even more fun with it all. Of course we had to visit Santa and get pictures with him for Aria!
I haven’t done a ‘Weekend Diaries’ post in so long so I thought this would be the perfect opportunity! Blake and I met our friends Haylee & Jarron at Sweet Berry Farms this weekend so we could get pictures of our little ones together at the pumpkin patch.
A couple of weeks ago you may have seen a picture I posted from this fun event that Simon Malls threw for ACL at The Domain. I brought Aria to the party, well because sometimes you don’t get to do everything you want to without your kids haha.
