Some days I feel like an absolute hot mess… anyone else? I hate feeling unorganized and rushed during the day (even though that’s sometimes unavoidable with a toddler, lol) so I try my hardest to take certain steps to make my life easier! I thought I’d go through and list some things that I like to do when I really want to be on top of my game!
Wow, I can’t believe it’s already 2018! I can remember writing my resolutions post last year at my in-laws’ house! It’s so crazy how time flies. I feel like it goes by even faster now that I have a kid, I don’t know why haha. I love the beginning of the new year because it feels like a clean slate where you can reflect on the previous year while also realizing what you need to change or what goals you should set going forward. I love to get re-organized and figure out a game-plan for work, and just life in general. Feeling organized is the best feeling ever to me so here are my 10 resolutions to make this year the best it can be!
Only 4 days until Christmas you guys! I’m counting down the days because this has been the craziest month of my entire year no doubt. Thankfully, I’m finally relaxing with family and (hoping) to de-stress, ha ha.
Today I’m getting personal up in here as you can see by the title of this post, haha! My journey with God has been something I’ve always cherished but, just as every human out there, it’s had ups and downs. Here’s a little background for you. I got baptized when I was 11 or 12 years old after I went through confirmation, which is a long study with a mentor where you learn about the bible, Jesus, and your faith in general.
I don’t normally do a lot of posts like this but after 4 years of marriage, Blake and I have finally gotten to a place where we’ve learned how to eat healthy. I say “learned” because I really do feel like it’s something you have to learn about in order to start executing it. It’s amazing how much better we feel about ourselves since changing this part of our lives so I decided to write a quick blog post about the things that we did and tips to start making better food choices in your life! Often I find myself thinking about the future and trying to picture what my family’s life will look like.I have fun with it, because I’m such a daydreamer haha, but when I really stop and think about the goals I’d like to achieve and where I’d like to be it makes me look forward to the future and what it may have in store. I don’t necessarily want to fast forward through this time or anything. I enjoy being at this stage in my life and I’m enjoying Aria at this age! I’d love for time to slow down but I know it won’t.
