Since I had a baby last year, my life has been all about taking care of her first and foremost, but now that she is a little older I want to take a little time out of each day to take care of me so that I can feel my best and be the best mom I can be to Aria.
Hey beauties! Today I’m going to be talking about beauty! Makeup, hair, and my favorite recent purchases! I don’t do a ton of beauty posts so when I do I like to encompass as much as possible. I like to be pretty simple wth my everyday hair and makeup but I do occasionally like to spruce it up a little. I have fun watching beauty bloggers do their makeup and I take tips and tricks they use and apply them to myself when I’m getting all dolled up!
I’ve always loved playing around with hair extensions but I want to be completely honest here; I don’t wear them that often. Why? Well, I think I’d go crazy with my hair that long all the time (just my personal preference) and Aria already pulls my hair as it is, haha. I don’t need her pulling out my clip-ins too!
Hey guys! Today’s post is a fun one because I’m talking about laser hair removal! This is something that, until recently, I’ve never had done! When it comes to pain, I’m one of the biggest wimps out there. I mean needles, lasers, child birth, you name it- I’m afraid of it haha but I was pleasantly surprised by this process. I had my under arms treated and my upper lip done too. When I got there I met Kaylee and she was so sweet and welcoming.
Some girls are blessed with long, beautiful, full lashes… I am not one of those girls, haha. I have short stubby little lashes and they drive me nuts, so when Vegalash reached out to me to see if I would try their product- I said “absolutely!” I used the product for roughly two weeks and you can see my before and after pictures below. The top picture is before without makeup or mascara and the bottom picture is after with mascara. Vegalash was nominated as the best beauty product of 2016 by InStyle Magazine too! This vegan growth serum is the real deal. Here’s a little Q&A below for you!
It’s no secret that I love playing dress up, so Halloween is one of my favorite times of the year! Add the cooler weather and pumpkins everywhere and you’ve got one happy girl right here haha.
Welcome back to HKM! I hope everyone had a great Labor Day weekend! Blake and I relaxed a little bit but mostly worked outside on our backyard. We’ve been trying to spread dirt and prepare to plant grass next week and I’m so excited to finally have a nice yard!
